Jim Spears

Jim Spears is a dedicated advocate for the victims and families of personal injury. Jim is a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the South Carolina Plaintiff’s Workers’ Compensation Group, the North Carolina and South Carolina State bar associations, and the North Carolina Trial Lawyer’s Association. Jim also worked as a staff attorney for the South Carolina Supreme Court. He has been practicing law in South Carolina since 1983 and in North Carolina since 1991.

Jim Spears has dedicated his practice to helping injured people in their struggle to obtain fair compensation. Since 1985, he has bee a dedicated advocate for the victims and families of personal injury.

A Message from Jim Spears:
I have not spent all of my life practicing law or going to school. I have worked in
factories, worked in residential construction, run a paint contracting business, delivered mail as a substitute rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office, and done other non-legal jobs. I believe my experiences in other types of work have been a great help in understanding and dealing with the problems that working people face when they are injured. I know how insurance companies very often fail to deal fairly with people who have been injured. It is my job to work for my clients to get them the help and compensation they deserve.
