My practice is dedicated to helping injured people in their struggle to obtain fair compensation. I have been practicing personal injury law in Spartanburg since 1985. I worked for two years, immediately after graduating from law school, as a staff attorney at the South Carolina Supreme Court. I represent clients for the following types of cases: personal injuries; automobile accidents; workers' compensation (on-the-job injuries); and Social Security Disability. Most of my practice is in the Upstate of South Carolina and the border counties of North Carolina, including, but not limited to) the following counties: Spartanburg; Cherokee; Union; Laurens; and Greenville in South Carolina; and Polk; Rutherfordton; and Cleveland in North Carolina. I am admitted to practice in both South Carolina and North Carolina.
I have not spent all of my life practicing law or going to school. I have worked in factories, worked in residential construction, run a paint contracting business, delivered mail as a substitute rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office, and done other non-legal jobs. I believe my experiences in other types of work have been a great help in understanding and dealing with the problems that working people face when they are injured. I know how insurance companies very often fail to deal fairly with people who have been injured. It is my job to work for my clients to get them the help and compensation they deserve. That simply is what I do. I will work my hardest to accomplish that goal. I work as a sole practitioner. If you talk with a lawyer in my office you will be talking to me.
If you have a question concerning one of the areas of law that I handle, please do not hesitate to call me to discuss your problem. It is better to call and ask about a legal question and find out whether you have a case than to wait too long to do anything.
